One of the key aims of the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research is effective advocacy for research and to improve the health and wellbeing of all children. Therefore, the Institute welcomes and encourages news media interest in our programs. We are committed to ensuring that research findings are translated into therapies, policies and programs to make a real difference in the lives children and their families.
The Telethon Institute's Patron and Founding Director is Professor Fiona Stanley AC, 2003 Australian of the Year.
